The Land Cruiser Prado is manufactured by the well-known manufacturer, Toyota. There are three different models of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado available. These models are the GX, the GXL, and the VX. The GX is the standard, entry-level version of the Prado. However, the VX is the more luxurious version.

There were a handful of series of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado manufactured. Over the years these series included the 70 Light Series, the 70 Series, the 90 Series, the 120 Series, and the J150 Series. The 70 Light Series was produced during the years 1984 and 1990, the 70 Series was produced during the years 1990 and 1996, the 90 Series was produced during the years 1993 to 2002, the 120 Series was produced during the years 2002 and 2009, and the J150 Series has been produced from the year 2009 and is still produced in the present time. 

Purchasing a brand new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado can be a little expensive. Therefore, purchasing a used Land Cruiser Prado would be more cost effective. You would still get the vehicle you want, but at a fraction of the price. All of the features that were originally equipped on the Prado will still be there. As long as the vehicle was well-maintained, you should have no problems.

One of the best things about the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is the safety features it comes equipped with. From the 70 Light Series to the 70 Series, Toyota changed the front suspension to a “shock absorber through spring” design to help improve the handling. From the 70 Series to the 90 Series, Toyota changed the front suspension again. This time it was to a suspension by Hino that is shared by Tacoma and Hilux Surf. The 90 Series also comes equipped with front double wishbone and 4 linked suspension, 4WD, and ABS. The 120 Series re-designed the front suspension to improve the reliability of the vehicle. The J150 Series Series upgraded the 4WD to a more advanced system.

As you can see, buying a used Land Cruiser Prado will allow you to have a vehicle that is equipped with different safety features. The safety features the Prado comes equipped with will depend solely on which series you decide to buy. Each series has different safety features. It is all dependent on what safety features are most important to you as to what series would be most beneficial for you.
