Mitsubishi tractors are manufactured by Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. The company was established in June of 1980. However, this is a merger company of Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd and Satoh Agricultural Machinery Mfg. Co., Ltd. Their headquarters are located in Higashiizumo, Shimane, Japan. Mitsubishi tractors were only sold in the United States for a short time. However, grey market tractors can still be found in the United States today. The grey market is often referred to as the parallel market. You could purchase grey market Yanmar tractors, Iseki tractors, Komatsu tractors, Mitsubishi tractors, and more. The grey market refers to items being sold through distribution channels, but not by the original manufacturer. This is legal, but it is not official, authorized, or intended by the manufacturer.
Mitsubishi tractors used to be distributed throughout the United States under the Cub Cadet and International Harvester brands. Now Mitsubishi has partnerships with LS Tractors, which is a company out of South Korea. This is a division of LS Cable, which used to be known as LG Cable and VST Tillers of India. Today, Mitsubishi equipment is distributed in many countries throughout Europe and Asia. They are also mildly distributed in Australia as well.
Mitsubishi has proven to always provide an abundance of products in each avenue they distribute. This includes tractors. Since Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd began, they have come out with a large number of different tractors. Each one is different. Today, Mitsubishi stands with having manufactured over forty-five tractors. This is a pretty impressive number in comparison to many other manufacturers.
While Mitsubishi may not currently sell their tractors in the United States, they are available either on the internet or through the grey market. The grey market may require some research, but they are out there. With Mitsubishi being such a well-known brand, you may want to put Mitsubishi at the top of your list for possible tractor manufacturers for your next tractor purchase.
